How do I make a booking?

How much does it cost?

Our pricing varies depending on the type of work and complexity of the project. We offer free, no-obligation quotes with either fixed, day or hourly rates depending on the nature of the work.

Do you work on roofs?

Unfortunately we don't work on roofing, unless it is a minor repair to a 1st floor flat roof or similar.

Are you insured?

Yes, we have full business insurance that covers both damage to your property and injuries that might occur as a result of our work.

Are you services covered by a warranty ?

Yes, many of our services will be covered by a full one year warranty against product defects and installation errors. Some services will be undertaken at your own risk, such as when we assist you with a project like painting and decorating where you also complete some of the work, or where you instruct us to repair something in a manner that we have advised you against. We'll make sure this is clearly explained at the start of the work.

Do I have to pay anything before you start work?

We're a small business, so if we're undertaking a large project with sigificant material costs, we may ask you to pay for the materials upfront or arrange for staged payments. You're welcome to provide you own materials too!

For most smaller tasks, we'll ask you to pay immediately after we have completed the job.

Do you take card payments?

Yes, if you'd like to use a credit card then the Consumer Credit Act (1974) gives you additional peace of mind.

Alternatively we accept, cash, debit card and direct bank transfers.

Do you remove Lead paint or Asbestos ?

When preparing previously painted surfaces where there is original paint that dates up to1970, we are unable to sand more than a light abrasion of the top coat due to the risk of there being Lead in the orginal paint.

For everyones safety we are unable to remove, drill into, sand or otherwise disturb asbestos. We can however safely paint over it.

How long will it take to paint my room?

Your quote will outline expected timescales, taking into consideration the size of the project and any factors that might cause delay.

It can take anywhere between two - five days (and sometimes more) to completely prepare and redecorate a typical single room, particularily if unforseen circustances occur, and anything up to three weeks for stairs, hallway and landing depending on the stardard of finish and the degree of preparation involved.

Do we need to move out while you work?

No, you're welcome to stay - we love a good chat! although we might complete the project sooner if the room is completely clear and there are no distruptions!
